Duty of Care for Working with a Child
To protect all children’s sanctity, it is essential that supervision occurs. A parent or responsible adult should always be nearby and contacted by your child and the teacher. The child may be requested not to attend tutoring if a responsible adult guardian is unavailable. All our teachers have a current Working with Children Certificate and National Police Clearance; they can be sighted upon request. No first aid can be provided. Albany Tutoring’s practices are in line with the WA Education Department policies and guidelines. All our staff receive annual professional development training on these matters.
