Working with young people - Albany Tutoring
Little girl learns online from home while her tutor or teacher teaches remotely.

Supervision must occur to protect all young people; this includes adult, eighteen-year-old students. We take this very seriously. A parent or responsible adult should always be nearby and contactable with your young person and the teacher. The young person will be requested not to attend tutoring if a responsible adult guardian is unavailable. We are required to report all cases of suspected young person abuse. All our teachers have a current Working with Young Person Certificate and National Police Clearance; they can be sighted upon request. No first aid can be provided. We have a strict contact policy and the tutor will not under any circumstances make physical contact with your child.

Albany Tutoring’s practices align with the WA Education Department policies and guidelines on working with young people. All our staff receive annual professional development on duty of care.
